This thesis project tackles the issue of e-waste by reimagining the everyday desk fan as a product built for longevity. Designed with modular parts, tool-free fasteners, and a USB-C power hub, the fan makes disassembly and repair intuitive for non-specialist users. Inspired by circular design principles, each component can be replaced, refurbished, or returned, extending the product’s life while reducing waste. By turning repairability into both a functional and aesthetic feature, the project demonstrates how thoughtful design can challenge planned obsolescence and foster more sustainable consumer habits
