Inspired by Stephen Burks’ use of weaving and craft, this tea set reimagines traditional forms with a fiber weave that expands surface area, keeping the vessel cool to the touch while holding hot liquids. The design balances modern elegance with practical function, using a dual-layer structure for easier cleaning and manufacturing. Prototyped through both hand-woven paper models and 3D prints, the final set emphasizes comfort, sophistication, and the interplay of texture and form.
