S.C.D. DEVICE
Spinal Compression Damper (S.C.D.) Device
The S.C.D. Device is a harm-reduction product designed for motorsports, inspired by the success of the HANS device in preventing head and neck injuries. While the HANS revolutionized safety, drivers remain vulnerable to spinal compression during high-speed crashes. The S.C.D. addresses this gap by protecting the lower back and pelvis through a wearable exo-spine system that integrates seamlessly with modified racing seats.

Studio Storage Solution
In this project, I was tasked with designing a product that would make a net-positive impact on the studio environment. I chose to address the unsafe and disorganized drawer of loose X-Acto knives. The existing setup was not only cluttered but also hazardous, as loose blades could shift dangerously whenever the drawer was opened.
My solution was a soft organizer tray that safely secures each knife in its own slot. The tray is removable, allowing students to carry the entire set directly to their worktable for group prototyping sessions. I intentionally designed the organizer with extra capacity, more slots than the studio’s current supply of knives, so that empty spaces would subtly encourage restocking and ensure the studio remains well-equipped in the future.
This design improves safety, efficiency, and collaboration while also serving as a visual management tool to keep the studio stocked and organized.

"Anti" Graffiti Guide Stencil Book
A handmade book of layered stencils designed to create a “no graffiti” symbol when used in sequence. The project experiments with how layered images and participatory actions can subtly control or comment on public messaging. Each page in the stencil book builds toward a full image, combining practical stencil design with an ironic twist — creating a symbol that’s both anti-art and made of art itself.

AR Collage
This final project transforms my original Emotion Sketches into a living, breathing 3D space. Using AR, digital modeling, quick mesh edits, and bold color work, I let emotion shape the forms themselves, abandoning line for volume, letting feeling become structure. It’s a study in how overwhelming emotions evolve: from burning silently inside, to exploding outward in chaotic bursts of expression as the semester finally comes to a close.
This AR 3D piece radiates energy, wild, vibrant explosions of shape and color. What once smoldered like a hidden fire now detonates into abstract, geometric blooms. Bright, clashing, kinetic, the forms capture the raw shift from internal struggle to cathartic release, embodying both the exhaustion and the freedom found at the end of a long, emotional journey. Being able to be virtually placed over the original
